The museums' night activities, 19 May


NATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

  • Night opening hours from 19:00 to 24:00 Night opening hours: from 19:00 to 24:00.
  • Guided tours. Beginning at 19:30 every half an hour
  • History told by its protagonists. Dramatised monologue. 19:30, 20:30, 21:30 and 22:30.
  • The animated museum. Throughout the night, visitors will meet literary characters, authors or troubadours from other ages.
  • Continuous concert. The Roaring Twenties. In the garden
  • Bar in the garden

Altamira National Museum and Research Centre

  • From 20:30 to 23:00. Guided tour to the Neocave, lighted by bone-marrow lamps
  • From 20:30 to 23:00. Prehistoric workshop: how fire was obtained and bone-marrow lamps made

AMERICA MUSEUM

  • Spain and Latin America in dance: Spanish dancing, Mexican ballet and Argentinean ballet. 21:00.
  • Night opening hours from 19:00 to 22:00.

NATIONAL ANTHROPOLOGY MUSEUM

  • Night opening hours from 20:00 to 23:30.
  • Guided tour: The museum's masterpieces. 12.00 to 18.00.
  • Conference: S.O.S.: The injured heritage and inhumane destruction. 19:00.

NATIONAL DECORATIVE ARTS MUSEUM

    “The universal routes”

  • Tour "Exploration and knowledge journeys" 19:00 .
  • Track game: "universal routes" 20:00.
  • Cinema projection. 23:00.

NATIONAL CERAMICS MUSEUM

  • Song and piano chamber group concert
  • On the 20th, saxophone quartet performance. 11:30. 

CERRALBO MUSEUM

  • 20:00. Recital of Broadway and classic American musical pieces
  • Prize giving for the 2nd edition of the youth drawing contest 

NATIONAL SCULPTURE MUSEUM

  • Night opening hours 21:00 to 24:00
  • Night visit to view the collection's masterpieces. 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30, 23:00 . 

EL GRECO MUSEUM

  • 22:30. Songs under moonlight at the Jewish Museums
  • The exhibition "The El Grecos at the El Greco Museum”, can be visited up until the time the show starts 

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ROMAN ART

  • 19:00. A great get-together. Theatre in movement   

SEPHARDIC MUSEUM

  • 22:00-24:00 . Special night-time opening
  • 21:15. Songs under moonlight at the Jewish Museums

SOROLLA MUSEUM

  • Music recital and visits to the exhibition rooms. “Discovering the Mysteries of the Sorolla House”. 21 .00.
  • Old Friends jazz concert in the garden. 21:30.

COSTUME MUSEUM

    “The 50's”

  • 19:00-21:00 =. Thematic visit to the room exhibition fashions from the 50's
  • 21:15 . Concert by the clarinettist Mr Dix
