On the other hand, Spanish legislation offers a series of intellectual property rights protection mechanisms, with the possibility of resorting to administrative, civil, and criminal actions. More specifically, in Book III Title I the Intellectual Property Act offers actions and proceedings which not only may be considered in case of violation of exclusive use rights, but also protect and include moral rights as well as acts of ignorance of remuneration rights. It also offers protection if such rights correspond to the author, to a third party that acquires them or to the holders of connected or related rights.
Book III, Title II also regulates the General Register of Intellectual Property. Title III of the same Book regulates the symbols or indications of the reservation of rights and in Title IV, the collective management entities of intellectual property rights.
