Presentation of the magazine is an annual publication dealing with museums, which is published by the Ministry of Culture's General Department of Fine Arts and Cultural Assets, through the General Office for National Museums.

In April 2003, the General Office for National Museums decided to create a space for the exchange of ideas and dialogue among professionals and those involved in the culture of museums. This resulted in this publishing initiative, which continues the work of earlier publications such as the Archaeological Museum Reports (1940-1961) and the Museos magazine (1982-1983). It was officially launched when the Minister of Culture, Carmen Calvo, presented the first issue at the National Archaeological Museum in December 2004.

Its main objective is to deal with the changes that are currently occurring in the museums in order to act as a communication channel for the network of national museums; it is open to all the trends in museums in the national and international context.

It is divided into different sections of varying significance that provide a contemporary vision of museums and, in particular, their functions are: Analyses of the most recent museum projects and pay tribute to prestigious professionals, whether through the recovery of historical figures or the recognition of careers of special relevance within the national museums. It also prints high quality cultural itineraries, designed to promote a close relationship between museums and cultural tourism and, additionally, it reviews recent publications related to museums and cultural heritage.
