The library's collection is made up of over 25,000 books, 970 magazine titles, leaflets, programmes for festivals and events, and a section containing antique and special pieces, press cuttings, publications and film library programmes, press reviews, scripts, special archives and old magazines. It also offers a collection of over 5,000 recorded documents on different supports (graphite and vinyl records, CD, DVD, etc.), as well as music scores, studies and other documents.
All books and magazines located on the shelves of the various reading rooms are freely accessible to the public. These are modern books and magazines (post-1960). They are of the following nature:
Documents stored in the library depositories are of restricted access. As well as documents of the same nature as those of free access, they also include press reviews, scripts, and material subject to specific levels of protection.
These documents are specially protected and require a written request handed in to the librarians in advance. They are made up of the following documents:
