Comisión Superior Calificadora de Documentos Administrativos


The High Commission of Administrative Documents Classification has approved general criteria for the evaluation of Spanish Central Administration documents.

The ministerial departments remain responsible for the organisation of their own archives and the treatment of their documents, since the corresponding classification committees approve the identification and evaluation studies that are submitted to the High Commission with the forms created to that effect.

The system and procedure for eliminating documents and, when appropriate, keeping them on media different from the original is established by Royal Decree 1164/2002, dated 8 November (Official State Gazette num. 274 of 15 November 2002)
